True Grit is the best movie ever. Period.

    Westerns I Own:

    Tombstone
    Young Guns (both of 'em)
    Unforgiven
    and (ashamed to admit it)
The Quick and the Dead - I forgot how bad it was and only paid $7 for it.

How in the Hell did I forget High Plains Drifter? I'd rank it third behind The Good, the Band and the Ugly and Unforgiven in the Eastood westerns.

Awsome movie!! Only John Wayne could be so serious and make me just laugh. I love the Duke!!! The chick in that movie just makes it for me.

Two Mules for Sister Sarah with Shirley McClain, Clint took an arrow in the sholder, and had to get really drunk so Shirley (the Nun) could get the arrow out. They cut off the end, made a groove to hold gun powder, lit it and she smacked it with the butt of the gun to drive it through.

Then Clint had to hit the dynamite on the tresel before the train crossed. She had to help hold the gun steady while he pulled the trigger.

....and Kevin Costner made 2 decent movies, and Wyatt Earp wasn't one of them. The man just can't act.

Tombstone on the other hand...kick ass. "I'm your huckleberry"

Then you've never seen Tall in the Saddle. Clint is a real stud in that movie. He is too cool.

One seen where he's playing poker and the guy calls him cheat. Priceless.
