Just came back from the summer league at West Meck. It like Ruckers with a DJ playing music and an announcer talking about anything and everything.

Withers and Grier are playing on Mcnasty team with Mcinnis and Justin Gray. Demon is playing on the Pepsi team and Jobey is on John P. Kee(who played Mcnasty tonight). Game are on Monday, Tuesday and Wed's starting at 6:30, 4 game per night(10 teams in the league). I will list a schedule for Mcnasty and Pepsi at the end of these.

Wither looking really good scoring about 12- his 10-12 Ft. shot was on and like very smooth. Grier was a no factor- accept for a couple of blocks and a 3 pt. at the end to help win the game. Only saw about 8 min. of the game with Demon. No signs of Clemmons. Jobey was on fire- him and Mcinnis was going back and forth. I think CJ Pigford was playing on Mcnasty team- they mention a guy by the name of Cj that was 6-7 and little smaller (body wise) than Withers.

    Schedule:

    June 30(Monday)
    6:30 Mcnasty vs JCSU team
9:30 Pepsi vs Curtis Lee Inv. (Matt Jones and Todd Fuller)

    July 1
    7:30 Pepsi vs Queens
    8:30 Mcnasty vs Educators

    July 2
6:30 Mcnasty vs Curtis Lee Inv.
    Pepsi is idle

    July 7
    7:30 Mcnasty vs JCSU
    8:30 Pepsi vs Educators

    July 8
    8:30 Mcnasty vs Pepsi

    July 9
    8:30 Mcnasty vs Educators
9:30 Pepsi vs John P. Kee (Jobey)

    July 14
    6:30 Pepsi vs Educators
    Mcnasty is idle

    July 15
6:30 Pepsi vs Curtis Lee Inv.
    7:30 Mcnasty vs Queens

    End of Reg. season

    Playoff July 16,21,22, 23
    All-star game July 23

Grier hit a three? I think he hit the one he attempted last season.

Metro, you need check your sources. Pigford is not skinny. He's a solid 6'6" - 6'7" 230. He's about Basden's build but a little bigger. Think of a 6'6" Delonte Hill.

Hope they weren't talking about Spooner. He may be on the skinny side.

    Jobey

Jobey had 29 last night. He's a different player in those summer games. Maybe he's stronger and more aggressive now or maybe Lutz called too many set plays...to show Jobey's versatility???

Kind of like Demon last year. One D...3 pt shooter. We'll see if he's well-rounded this season as he reclaims his ball-handling role.

M9H saw Pig on campus, I beleive. that was my basis. I have heard several people call him very skinny. I have seen Spooner pics, and he isn't skinny.

In tonight's(Monday) games, Grier and Wither did not show too much- Grier's passing and driving looked pretty good. CJ Pigford is not playing on their team, but Demarco is. Clemmons is playing with Demon on the Pepsi team and had about 12 pts. against Todd Fuller- he had some really good looks. Demon was somewhere around 2-8 3pt shooting- his passing and driving were sharp. Also, Deon Grant (Panthers) is playing on the Educators team.

Grier and Wither are playing tomorrow at 8:30.

In tonight's, (Tuesday games), Demon was a no show for Pepsi however Clemmons was there and looked very good. He had 13 pts. which included a couple of powerful dunks and some nice moves with good finishes. Grier and Withers both looked good- Grier had 10 and Withers had 7. Grier was passing and running the court/going to the basket very well.

pcon, this is awesome info. take a camera one night and get some photos.

btw, why the hell is a Panther out there? you would think that competitive hoops would be a no-no.
