I like the attitude behind the Wesley quote, but the first question that comes to mind is, why weren't you recruited by a major college if you were an outstanding athlete? I know it happens that a high school coach just doesn't like a kid because of personality conflicts. The coach is an alumni of some big college and pushes his favorites. The deserving player gets pushed aside. The next thing you know you have a Jerry Rice playing for a small college. Let's hope this is the case for Wesley. I believe, I believe! This is why I think the later rounds in the draft are sometimes successful. Underdog, the American way.

Shcroll - tisk, tisk, tisk... there you go assumin shit. Did I say any of those guys suck? NO!

    This is what I said...
"On the flip side, many SEC type or Big 10 type Running Backs and Quarterbacks were complete failures in the NFL."

Now, find your list of QBs and RBs from your SEC or whatever big freakin school and you'll find just as many guys that were drafted but did not amount to shit. - that was the point.

And sure, the big name schools do produce more players - ok. Its just be it athlete, scholar, or whatever, I've never been one to get overly impressed by how big or how highly rated their school was.
