    I don't think so. If the only 2 teams Davis has visited are Houston and Carolina and the Texans sign Mack that can only be good new for us.

    you think Houston's the ONLY team interested in Mack?? what happens if he goes and signs elsewhere and Davis signs in Houston and we have Nick Goings???

    funny you should post that.

    I'm hearing from the hallowed halls of Ericcson, That the Texans appear to be "losing interest in Davis" and thus we are the front runners.

    No I don't think they're the only team interested but they are the only team he has visited. He's not going to just sign on with someone out of the blue.

    We still have Skip Hicks who could start if need be. Then we have the draft (probably second round) where we might have a shot at Suggs, Brown, O. Smith, M. Smith, Cecil Sapp and others. No need to offer a ridiculous contract.

    This is a good indication that they may be cool to getting in a bidding war with Davis.

    That and the fact the if Davis only wanted the $$ - he would have been gone to the Texans already. He is waiting for a big anty up - or I think he is coming to Carolina. Houston ain't gonna break the bank when they can sign a young Stacey Mack with a lot less mileage for less $$.

    Davis might just be ours, for better or for worse.

    I like it. :D
