Sure enjoyed that sandwich and chips. It's back to usual tomorrow though. Worst part about it is I don't feel guilty at all. Not sure if I should or not, but oh well.

I've been meaning to ask you about when you were in Charlotte and you "cheated". I'm going to be going on a week long vacation in a couple of weeks and i don't won't to blow what i've done but DAMN i want some vacation food! I won't some treats you know, i want icecream and some other sinful stuff. How much did you cheat? Did you eat whatever you wanted or was it just having those beers that you say was cheating?
One good thing is the hotel will have a workout room and i plan on using it plus tennis courts. So, i'm going to be active.

The things I cheated with were: Gatorade (I hadn't been drinking all the necessary water and with the intake of alcohol throughout the first part of the trip, I so needed the Gatorade before the softball game to hydrate myself.), a burger with the bun, a waffle for breakfast (oh lord that was scrumptious!), corn chips, and french fries. Oh yeah I also had a few of Honey's biscuits. That's really all I cheated with. Other people will tell you that I pretty much stuck to the diet when going out to eat, etc. Even after cheating, it wasn't hard to get back on the diet. I think every now and again you've got to cheat and have what you're really craving because not taking care of the craving only makes it worse, but you've got to really think is it worth blowing a day for. Today was one of those days worth blowing.

I think i better take some things with me to eat, this is going to be kind of difficult

yeah, i agree you shouldn't deprive yourself of something you want, life is too short, i just want to keep it in check, Got to remember The Big Picture!

So, did you go out for your sammich, or did you fix it at home?

I don't think it hurts that much to slip other than the guilt. Y'all have been pretty dedicated and deserve a break. Especailly Coops, she has lost a lot. It's all along range plan anyway and can't happen in a short time. i don't have the problem y'all got cause I ain't never liked suger and have normally ate healthy food but I loved to fry it or load it down with mayo or butter and I loved my fried chicken. And i could drink a well dry of water so i ain't giving up what y'all have but if I have a hankering for a piece of fried chicken then I am going for it.;)

I was in Manhattan today (Yes I took a day off from work!) to take a friend in to take her social work test. I got my books for this semester and attempted to see my adviser who was out of town. My friend didn't pass her test and she was pretty bummed, so I took her out to a sandwich place called "Rock-a-Belly Bar and Deli". My friends and I used to go there all the time when I was going to K-State. Had a sandwich and con queso with chips.

K-State makes their own ice cream and they used to serve it at the Union. I would have had some but I couldn't find any!! :(
