...all that's left now is to set up Sunday morning and have our first service. Man, this has been a TON of work, but I've loved every minute of it and it's been really rewarding. Even if thing falls flat on its face, it's been worth it.

    Saturday:
8am: pickup 26' Penske truck in High Point, drive to Lexington. Load Children's church Items.
12pm: meet at office in Archdale, load up Sound Equipment, assemble and load up light equipment, some tables and chairs
1pm:Arrive at Pastors house, load up remaining tables and chairs (14 tables and 90 chairs total), signage, some props, Projectors, screens etc.
2pm: Arrive at school begin unloading. Start setup
6pm: Finish setup, Sound Tech and Band arrive, start tweaking lights, audio, video.
    8pm: Start first "run through"
11pm: Hit Walmart on the way home for the things we forgot to buy.

    Sunday
8:30 arrive at school. Start second "run Through"
8:45 -frantically look for breaker box after blowing a fuse (coffee pots to blame, but took out half the stage lights and one projector)
    10 - start service
12:15 - start breakdown / loading truck (see above, in reverse).
7pm - return truck, head home.

    Ugh.

Yes but Mark, look who you are working for! And look what the reward will be. Some people will never understand all that work.

No, as someone made the joke yesterday... I'm not the Pastor, I'm the pasture... I'm the one who gets shit upon.

But seriously, I'm on the "Creative Team", which means I help with planning the services. I also handle a lot of the graphic design stuff (signage, bulletins, t-shirts, presentation slides, etc) as well as running lights and helping with the video/sound during the services themselves.

As we get more sophisticated I'll help with video production and motion graphics.
