50 and 35 on the year. 9 and 5 last week.

On the downside, my upset picks just aren't coming through.

    Carolina vs Atlanta - Birds

The good news for Weinke is that he gets the start. The bad news is that he won't have any healthy recievers to throw to. And Vick is back, its at Atlanta, where we have lost, what, 5 in row?

    Chicago vs Detroit - Lions

Always play da Bears tough at home. Da Bears are still gimpy, and so far the A-train has been more of an off-field hero this year (still a cool thing he did).

Seattle vs St. Louis - Rams.

Tough game to call. Hawks did bring pressure on the 9ers, but have difficulty stopping the run. With hope on the rise in St. Louis, I think Martz will give the ball to Marshall again.

    Buffalo vs Miami - Bills

I think Lucas drops this one. Look at the Miami/KC game, Miami wasn't able to keep up. Bills win another high scoring squeeker.

San Francisco vs New Orleans - Saints

Coming of a Monday Night game, and going on the road, got to go with the aints.

Minnesota vs NY Jets - Vikings

The resistable force meets the yeilding object.

Tampa Bay vs Philadelphia - Eagles

Same story as the last two years. No answer for McNabb on the Bucs.

Denver vs Kansas City - Chiefs

At Arrowhead, I'm thinking a midseason slide for he Donkees is on the horizon.

    Jacksonville vs Baltimore - Ravens

No Brunnel, no win for Jags. Gerrard won't get it done.

San Diego vs Oakland - Raiders

San Diego picked the wrong time to come to the black hole.

    Houston vs Cleveland - Cleveland

A get well game. Courtney Brown needs to start making some plays. Get on Couch all you want, but Brown is looking like the bust here.

Washington vs Green Bay - Pack

GO PACK GO! Stevil gets a Favre education.

    Dallas vs Arizona - Cowboys

Cowbooys and Carter get by. I still don't buy into the Cardinals.

    Indianapolis vs Pittsburgh - Colts

Peyton picks the tin foil secondary to pieces.
Bye Week: Cincinnati, Tennessee, New England, NY Giants

Miami - Lucas will have 1-2 pics but run for 1 TD and throw 2-3 TD passes.

    Houston - Upset pick

Arizona - Still not impressed with Dallas

Carolina - Emotional Favorite, plus I actually expect Winky to have a good game.

Vikings - Bennett's improved running should help the pass

San Fran - My biggest toss up game...

All I learned last week is that after Week 1, there's no such thing as a 'lock'. 7 - 7 last week, 47 - 25 on the year.

    Buffalo @ Miami -- MIA
Miami's ground game will keep Drew off the field. Ball control wins this one.

    Chicago @ Detroit -- DET
Joey's getting the hang of starting, Chicago's O hasn't started firing yet, and the D hasn't been the same since Washington has been out.

    Jacksonville @ Baltimore -- JAX
Without Ray Lewis on the field, a steady dose of Fred Taylor ought to be enough to win a low scoring close one.

Seattle @ St. Louis -- St. Louis
Martz finally gave in to the running game, and Bulger somehow has won the confidence of the team. Seattle will play tough, but not tough enough.

    Houston @ Cleveland -- CLE
Until Carr starts getting some pass protection, the Texans will have a hard time getting out of the 'L' column.

    Dallas @ Arizona -- ARI
On the surface, these teams look too much alike to me. But the Cards played the Cats surprisingly tough. Tough enough for me to give them props this week anyway.

Washington @ Green Bay -- GB
Coach Visor played musical chairs again with the O this week. Until that offense sees some chemistry, it'll be tough to sustain any momentum. And Favre is putting wins together with duct tape and spit.

    Carolina @ Atlanta -- ATL
The injury monster (it's way bigger than a bug) that missed us in pre-season--for the most part--has found us. Dang we got decimated in a hurry. COME ON BYE WEEK!

Denver @ Kansas City -- DEN
Can Denver's D shut down Priest Holmes and Trent Green? I think they can...but I could be wrong.

Minnesota @ New York Jets -- NYJ
This will be a close, but ugly game I think. I see it boiling down to Lamont Jordan vs. Michael Bennett, and right now I think Shrek has the better running game. Plus, I like Pennington's receivers better than Culpepper's.

San Francisco @ New Orleans -- SF
This is a tough game to call. I only pick the Niners because of the momentum and consistency they've got. The Saints have been hot and cold. Could go either way.

San Diego @ Oakland -- SD
I could be out of my mind here, but I think this marks the beginning of the Raiders' near predictable mid-season slide, and Brees & Co. are playing good ball.

Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia -- PHI
I think McNabb is good enough to overcome the Bucs revived D.

    Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh -- IND
Everyone knows that until the Steelers prove us wrong, the way to beat them is with the pass. Enter Peyton Manning...

Pittsburgh- I am not sold on Indi, they may beat the steelers, but I'll take the home team and Maddox here
