Except if you had watched the game - and won money on it - like I did instead of looking at the boxscore out of context, you'd know that most of those yards came after Nebraska was up 31-7 and was playing their scrubs. The second string QB for SMiss put all those yards up in the 4th quarter. Look at the individual QB stats. Almond - the starter - was pitiful.

Thanks for the input though. Your research is great too.

Yeah, taking a box score out of context could have saved you some money. Not to mention the fact that there's no way anyone who knows anything about football would take a team that's recruited to run the option going to a west coast offense covering 14.5 against SoMiss's defense. I'm surprised Nebraska scored 14.5 total.

That was the part I didn't like.

Southern Miss may have had a down year or two here and their, but over the past decade they've been pretty tough overall.

Nebraska throwing 4 INTs against Western Illinois should have been a clue too. :)

I knew it. And that's a criticism I would be just fine with. :) It was the reason they lost. And you are not the only person that warned me about the INT's. Y'know.... research and all that. I just figured the Nebraska D would bail them out. And they did in the first half.

But S Miss still only had one drive where they moved the ball. So I had that part right.
