Week 2- Lock of the Week

    After a successful week 1 of picking UVA -16.5 over Duke. (thanks for the beer, Sly) I will now reveal my week 2 lock of the week.


    Ole Miss -7.5 @ Memphis...

    I shall join you in playing the Rebs this week. This number is a good TD too low - especially after the Rebs were scared at Vandy last week.

    As for last week, the odd thing about that UVA game was the shutout. Duke wasn't all that bad on offense last year and I thought for sure you would get backdoored there. This bodes well for the Hoos.

    Ok. Back for more. 3-3 so far this season. Fuck you Kansas State. You cost me a winning week.

    Ole Miss (-8) - See Dave above.

    Florida State (-15) - FSU is 13-for-13 against Maryland. The closest the Terps have come is 14 so I don't see how they can cover it. No Perry, a hurt Suter and McBrien is throwing everything off of his back foot because he is hurt. Not good.

    Tennessee (-19) - Marshall is fast and has good receivers. Blah, blah , blah. Same with Fresno (although Fresno was missing a QB). And Marshall is not as big up front as Fresno is. The Vols will run them over just like Va Tech did last year. THE MAN put the total at 47. This suggests to me that he does not expect one team - you know, Marshall - to score many points.

    Syracuse (pk) - UNC's last 7 home games? 0-7. Syracuse should not be as bad as last year.

    Wash St/Notre Dame UNDER 41 - They could play until Tuesday and not score 40 points I think. I hope anyway.

    Purdue (-10) - The MAC getting an opening night upset helped coaches of all the teams that has to play a MAC team now.

    I wanted nothing to do with either the Florida or Bama games.

    It's looking like I should've wanted nothing to do with Syracuse and Purdue too. Syracuse still can't stop anyone. Durant is 12/15 for 148 yards and 2 TD's for heaven's sake. And the dude ain't Peyton Manning.
