    As Piper reported, I was 12 - 4 last week. Not bad. I'm 122.5 - 69.5 (63.8%) for the year.

    MIAMI @ MINNESOTA --
    MIA
The Vikes have been playing tough lately, and their win over the Saints was a big one. But Miami's got it all, and Ricky can run on turf, too.

    PHILADELPHIA @ DALLAS -- PHI
This one has upset written all over it, but I think the Iggles will take care of business. The clock continues to tick for Campo...

SAN FRANCISCO @ ARIZONA -- SF
Just what the doctor ordered for the ailing 49ers. I'd look for Garcia to play a little, but after halftime this game will look like a Niner pre-season game.

BUFFALO @ GREEN BAY -- GB
Two cold weather teams with strong QB's and respectable running attacks. But nobody beats Favre at Lambeau in December -- especially the Bills' porous D.

    DETROIT @ ATLANTA -- ATL
Joey's on the bench, and McMahon's behind center for the next two weeks. If it was Jim McMahon, they might have a shot...

NEW ORLEANS @ CINCINNATI -- NO
If you listen closely, anywhere in the Ohio River valley you can hear, "Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Are we done yet?..."

SAN DIEGO @ KANSAS CITY -- SD
Both teams have strong running attacks, but the Priest is in need of some miraculous healing to be on the field Sunday. This one goes to LT and the Bolts. Anyone else notice that Dante Wesley's big brother Greg has quietly had a very decent season for the Chiefs?

ST. LOUIS @ SEATTLE -- SEA
The Seahawks continue to impress. Beating the Dirty Birds in Atlanta last week in OT was enough to turn my head. And the Rams don't like playing outside, especially in cold weather.

    DENVER @ OAKLAND -- OAK
One of the best rivalries in the NFL. The Silver & Black needs to get big Mo back on their side to make their post-season run, and there's no place like home.

    CHICAGO @ CAROLINA -- CAR
Da Bears got away with one last week, but Fox and JDR will want to put on a defensive show for the home fans to give them something positive to remember in the offseason.

    HOUSTON @ WAS -- WAS
If this game was in Houston, I'd pick the Texans. I still wouldn't put it past Carr & Co. to pull off the upset. That is, if he can avoid Bruce Smith and LaVar Arrington.

NEW YORK (GIANTS) @ INDIANAPOLIS -- IND
Big Blue should be able to shut down the Colts' running game, but even with Manning giving away interceptions like friggin' Santa Claus, I don't think the Giants' secondary will be able to capitalize.

    TENNESSEE @ JACKSONVILLE -- TEN
The Flaming Thumbtacks manhandled the World Champs last night, and Jacksonville isn't close to being that good. Neil O'Donnell could beat the Jags, and he probably will.

    CLEVELAND @ BALTIMORE -- CLE
Another great rivalry between two very closely matched teams, IMO. It could go either way, but I think Couch will pull this one out. Total gut feeling here.

NEW YORK (JETS) @ NEW ENGLAND -- NE
Both teams are reeling from bad losses that should've been wins. I look for Belichek to remind the Pates they're the champs, and Pennington will have a tough night against one of the most feared defensive secondaries in the NFL.

    PITTSBURGH @ TAMPA BAY-- TB
At one time, this could've been a Super Bowl preview. But the Steelers have taken a couple of steps backward, and the Bucs are starting to make some noise on offense to go along with their defensive roar.
