I was crying about midway through the 2nd with TCU up 2 TD's and Utah - who I passed on - just killing A&M.

And I guess N'western can pass. Basanez threw for 500+ last night. Now learn to play D and kick FG's and NW might win a few games.

I expected A&M to be a little better at least. Yikes.

    Few more for Saturday...

Texas Tech (-25) - Both teams have 16 starters coming back. But TT's returnees are the ones that won 58-10 last year. I should probably question how good the TT offense will be in week 1, but I made that mistake last year. If Tech goes for 50, SMU would need 25 to cover. They had trouble scoring that across a couple of games last year.

Marshall (-14.5) - Revenge game for the opener. The Herd went to Troy on cloud 9 after winning at K State last year and got punched in the mouth. Deservedly so. Hopefuly the Marshall QB will throw 3 less INT's than he did last year now that he's in front of the home folks.

    Back later....
