What memorable song was played at your wedding? And if you are single and still waiting for that special someone, what songs would you like to have played at your wedding.

"Come What May"-- Ewan MacGregor/Nicole Kidman

    Christian:
Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
I want to vanish inside your kiss
Every day I love more and more
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sings
Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change, winter to spring
But I love you until the end of time

    Chorus:
    Come what may
    Come what may
I will love you until my dying day

    Satine:
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace

    Christian:
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste

    Satine:
    It all revolves around you

    Satine & Christian:
And there's no mountain too high
    No river too wide
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side
    Storm clouds may gather
    And stars may collide
But I love you (I love you) until the end of time

    Chorus

Oh, come what may, come what may
I will love you, I will love you
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place

the weddings I've played have been of a baroque theme - usually a continually repeating verse of Canon by Pachelbel for the procession, air on G string for candle lightings or for seating, the Gounod "Ave Maria" variation of a Bach theme (Different from the traditional Ave), and March of the Prince of Denmark for the bride. Luckily, I wasn't involved in the debacle in which someone paid my trumpet player to play the theme from Dynasty as the processional.

one wedding, as well, had a pair of singers playing "with you I'm born again" as performed (I believe) by Billy Preston and some chick. I was at a wedding where two people sang to each other. I was too busy trying to block it out to remember what song it was.

I sang to my wife at our wedding, and accompanied myself on guitar.

well, the stuff I've played has lasted hundreds of years, so I'm still pretty secure in that one :D it's also fairly representative of what I'd want at my wedding. Small chapel, like the one on 3rd, carriage, all that.

I did a gig at St. Mary's, or whatever the name of that chapel is. Very small, but nice.

my sister got married to the tune of...

the everly brothers' "unchained melody" never did like that song before untill then...i think "unchained melody" is so romatic!

the church music when i got married was the theme from romeo and juliet "a time for us". then the traditional wedding march. i was late for my wedding, i was so stressed. my friends from choir sang, but i dont remember what songs.

I've never played in that church, but I was part of a wedding there. Special place. Would be even more special if they didn't churn out a wedding once every two hours.
