Wedding Crashers

yeah small part. I didn't even realize he was in it till he appeared on screen.

 

Oh well. So my statement wasn't 100% accurate, but the point was still there. Regardless, I have to see the movie.

 

Saw it last night. Vince was hot as usual. Very funny, but I was drunk so who knows for sure.

 

This show was so fuckin money.

 

He's getting good at stealing the show, whether it's his show or not. Anchorman really needed more of his character, because it drug in the conflict (and the conflict was really fucking long).

Vince's just more likeable than Owen, even though a lot of the jokes are at his expense. The part where he's getting jerked off under the table's gotta be one of the funnier things I've seen lately. Overall, the whole thing was put together well - no Starsky and Hutch type mailing it in. These guys were on - what wasn't hilarious, was entertaining; the conflicts weren't overly complicated, depressing, or dragging. It all fit in right, flowed as if it were a part of life.

Ferrell was at about the right dosage - enough to really liven it up in a part, but enough to not dwell on the fact that no matter what he's doing, it just seems like Will Ferrell wandered in, playing a part that vaguely resembles every other Will Ferrell part. Anyway, his part was funny.

They seemed to have more for the Jane Seymour part than made it into the movie. It really deserved more of that. She was good, she was funny, you bought it. And after flirting, and exposing, then she disappears from dialogue the rest of the movie? That makes no sense. If nothing else, show her realizing that the guy's after her daughter and confront him about it, but it deserved more than that.

The part at the beginning, the backstory on their lives? I dunno. It went nowhere, it wasn't revisited. Yeah, it was just a comedy, and I get that. It's not supposed to be deep, and it was well put together. But some stuff didn't sit quite right.

 

i just got back from wedding crashers, holy shit......funny stuff. too many scenes to remember.

 

I thought it was really funny,but about fifteen minutes too long.

 

How come y'all didn't talk about all the good looking women in this movie?? I saw it yesterday and would have enjoyed it just for the scenery. That chick VV ended up with was a knockout.

It was funny as hell and had some gorgeous freaking babes in it.
