In the last 5 years of the NIT Final Four UNCFever. Not all time.

Our last NIT Final Four was in the 70's, when it still meant something.

Now it's just an alternative revenue stream for big programs who were too crappy to make the dance.

You kids have fun smack talking each other. I've made my point and won decisively.

Penn St. and Florida St. were in the last 5 years. So out of 10 teams that could be in the finals for the last 5 years, 20% were from small schools or programs that could careless about basketball.

Damn hit the wrong button. Seems pretty good to me. Can the NCAA Tourney boast the same %?

Since when were either of those team "small fanbase" teams?

As I predicted, the best you could do was a couple of lesser teams in high major conferences.

Both of those programs have plenty of fans to sell tickets to. And both of their fanbases would care about the NIT. Unlike, say... UT, who clearly didnt give a rip last night.

Well since I have never run into a fan for either of their basketball teams other than Larry D on this board, I would say there fan base must be pretty small. I think I gave you a long list of teams there.

So name a small fan base school that has been in the NCAA tourney finals in the past 5 years since you said they are so fair.

    Norman,

Memphis was in the top 5 in attendance last season (along with Louisville). The Tarheels weren't.

Throw in the Wal-mart Heel fans though, and they might have more. But who wants to claim those dipsh!ts?

Irritated at the NIT? yeah. But I've hated it for years. Including the year we went.

Irritated about our program? Nah. I know we're in good shape now.

having fun razzing the UNC fans - definitely.

UNCFever isnt so bad though. He better watch out or he'll give them a good name and we just cant have that :D

where should CUSA hold their tournament? If CUSA is trying to put the tournamet in a large city then Charlotte should definately be hosting. Plus it's only fair.
