we started south beach today

    i've lost/gained exactly ZERO pounds in a month.

    i would be more frustrated, but i haven't been trying hard to lose, though. it's been hard because gina's in the same boat -- she's maintaining; the real push to lose is over.

    any suggestions on how i should shock the body and lose 10 pounds in the next month? an hour of cardio each day? cutting out diet sodas in favor of water?

    i feel bad that i've missed out on a whole month.

    I don't know much about the south beach diet...from a workout propesctive, try using different cardio equip...you body will "adapt" to whatever machine you are using and will become more effiecient at it. do interval training...it kills you, but it works.

    well, i haven't done much working out at all this past month -- about once a week on weights and once or twice a week walking for 30 minutes. it's been a rough month, workwise, so i haven't been able to get to the gym after work.

    i'm ready to commit to it this month and lose 10 by my birthday.
