Playing time isn't a huge issue, you just don't want to be the 5th wideout or something who never plays. I think the main thing you'll want to do is find a good, active owner. Look to sign with a team that is owned by someone with a lot of players, preferably high level. Those guys will be the ones who know what they're doing and invest time in the game. Oh, and only sign one year contracts.

Don't do it. For that team to be worth a shit, he'll have to continue finding players. @ your level, your guy will end up buried on the depth chart.

For anybody that is slowbuilding a player, how long do you wait to boost a player? I figure you do not get experience for playoff games, but I think you still train. So do you wait till the very last game? or does it matter? The reason I ask is because I have a player in the d league on a playoff team.

It's where you don't spend your skill points and just train your attributes until you have enough to get up to 48 or 60.

You keep your level and attribute level as low as possible as long as possible to maximize training.

Say you are a center. The most important attributes are strength and blocking. You train strength and save all of your skill points (including the ones you get at player creation) until you get 48, or 60 if you opt to double cap, then spend all to cap and repeat for blocking. This method gets you to the soft cap for your two primary skills as quickly as possible.

When you factor in that you gain +1 strength and +1 blocking every time your center levels up, and that to get this increase above 48 would normally cost 4 skill points (2 each), you can see how this method would get you added value in future level increases.

    Hope this makes sense.

Ahh. Yeah, I guess that would dominate.

My eleven guys are slow built and should dominate, but as you said earlier, they're going to fall behind because I don't plan on boosting.

Is anyone else on the wait list for a team, and if so, where?
