It's a legit gripe Sandy. You have no basis for saying Weinke had other options. Hell, you said it yourself that you had no basis one sentance later. Glad you agree.

The play calling sucks, period, and cost us this game. Henning better grow some balls.

I said I could not see the whole field... niether could any other person watching network TV... He may have had other options. Fasani proved in the pre season he had the arm to roll out right and drill a guy cross field on the left...

Guys, I don't hate Winky... I've just been living with this team since the 1997 season with QBs that just don't have what it takes. For once I'd like to have a QB that can do more than blah blah blah...

You've got an eye for crap, IMO, Sandy.

Farve doesn't win that game for us.

Thats what opinions are for my friend. And right now, like I said, I'm very comfortable with my opinion, its right more times than not. I'm sorry I can't spew "technical reason"... again, I have a pretty good eye for talent when I have the benefit of seeing a guy play a few times.

Edit, ah yeah, I think Farve would have made a difference... a big one... but then again, thats opinon...

Piper's right. No basis at all. You can't say that Weinke won't make more plays than Peete - he's made three all season. You can't say Fasani's a better option - he beat no one in camp, he is inexperienced for the college level much less the pro game and
If he's the future I agree, he should see some time. Hell, Weinke playing well for the time being is for Fasani's best as well - if Weinke doesn't play well, there are strong doubts that Fasani will fare well once people are gameplanning for him. If Fasani plays this year, we draft a quarterback and then he's gotta beat a QB who was drafted in the top 50. I don't believe he could do that.

I'm not saying you hate him. You do have a very large bias, and one that's bordering on simple childishness since you can't even be respectful of him. If your words had merit before that, they don't after it.

By the way, coins are .500, and stumbling upon the end conclusion doesn't make the logic or opinion any less flawed. Your points are driven by bias and filled in with things that didn't happen. That's why this is about you as much as anything.

If I base my opinon on what I see, and for the most part that gift has made me successful in my career and in monday morning QB talk then so fucking what. My points on football are no less driven by bias than yours are of me.

Again, I'm right about my "opinion" on a players abiltiy to succeed more times than not. I don't rightly care if I can base it with fact. Here is an example... people love Rex Grossman, me I think he will fail in the NFL - He does not have what it takes to win at that level. I don't get all giddy with his "stats".... I watch other things...

My only bias is when you talk out of your ass. If you want to have an opinion, you've got it. Nobody's ever stopped you from speaking your mind.

But when you make shit up, you'll be sure to know you'll look as foolish as possible. I don't think I can recall anybody who's ever been any more full of shit when it comes to talking football...we don't need that. If you feel a way, go with it and just be "comfortable" enough in it that you don't need to justify it with things that never happened. You will be shown up for doing so - and not necessarily by me either. It's not personal, it's a matter of completely lacking credability or having the respect of your audience. If you can't handle your lies being shot down, don't lie. It's that easy - there's no room for whining about mistakes you want to blame on somebody else.

Please cite examples of your player evaluation skills. You say that over and over, yet where's the proof? You might want your money back from the Ray Charles Only What I See School of Player Evaluation.

He already cited Grossman not being somebody he likes, even though I don't remember anybody who actually does talk draft saying he was a top option. Chances are, he was basing that on the idea that a good number of Florida QBs have been unsuccessful and that Grossman won't be successful for that reason, though I'm sure he'll find a way to make something up that he'll think will be able to get past us.

I said Bline would not be a winner - he was not.
I said Collins would go to the post season with another team - he did.
I said Lewis would do well - he sucked.
I said Criag would do well - he never really played.
I said Winky would never have a winning season with us - still early.
I said Fasani has more ability than Winky - sorry dude it will take a few years to prove that one.

I said Walls would not be a factor this year - he's not.
I said 2 years ago the WR slot sucked for us, we needed an early pick - it sucks, we did not get an early pick.

While Garcia is having an off year. I said he would be strong the last 2 years - he was.

I said Warner and the Rams would not see the playoffs - probably will not.

No I'm not right all the time, but I'm right as much as most of the experts. At the end of the day, I use experts for one reason and one reason only. To learn about players teams I have not had a chance to see play. If I've seen them play a few times... I rely on what I think.... .
