We have got to give Fasani a shot!!!

we need an offensive identity that dont settle for punts- we need aggresive play calling and a mentality from our head coach to not play with a deer in the fucking headlights mentality.. this loss, ultimately, is on coaching and playcalling. simple as that.

I did not say that. I said Winky would not be here next year. Hell, the jury is still out on Fasani, I know that. But I'm probably the only guy here that will still be screaming for him if we go 3-10 or 3-whatever.

You forget Fasani made passes in the pre season the Winky just does not have the athletic ability to make.

 

I was a big proponent of starting Fasani at the first of the year, but not now. The QB position I haven't even given consideration in the losses. Peete and now Weinke have done well enough.

2 games it was turnovers, and this game it was penalties and dropped passes. Fasani would not have given us any more points, in my opinion.

 

There were at least 3-4 times during the game, where a guy like Fasani could have picked up a first down versus punting for a net 12 yards.

I'm not talking about a few plays. As was demonstrated by the Dallas comeback and the announcers pointed out - "Don't tell me this is not a game of emotion"

We got beat by a weak offensive line and probably the worst head coach coaching today. The players for Dallas were emotionally charged, their QB was emotionally charged. Winky was never emotionally charged - stoic and blah blah blah... I'll take my gambles with Fasani. Winky is not Marino, Elway or any other successful pocket passer, he never will be.

 

I don't get it Sandman. Where exactly did Weinke fuck up? He can't catch his own passes.
