And got no chocolates or flowers. It was the ultimate NASCAR screw of the century.

Maybe, but after going to the pits 3 times to check his car because it wasn't seemingly handling quite right, and starting 23rd after that, he still finished 6th with still prolly something not quite right with his car.

I don't like juuunier too much for some reason. Prolly cause he's an ass in person. A real "it's everybody else's fault" jerk. Moody,, very.

I'm not a real big fan of Mark Martin as far as racin (a fan of his as a person, tho), but that guy is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Especially for a celebrity. He's as humble as they get. Really.

gordon should have been allowed to restart in 2nd after the red flag. that was bs. had it been, say, kenseth or busch, i bet they would have. just more of NASCAR's selective rulings.

I have to disagree. It was just bad luck. I'm pretty sure NASCAR DOES NOT want plain ol Kenseth as champ again.

might as well let the ones who's car gets loose because the track gets slicker and greasier get an extra pit stop to fix it.. give me a break...
Gordon had bad luck because the track bit his ass,,, he may have had the best car at the time, but you dont give him a new starting position...

no, its total bullshit. a driver losing it in the turn and putting him in the wall would be one thing. running over a piece of debris off a car even, thats acceptable. but when the track itself, is coming apart, and they failed to see it until someone runs over a big ole piece of concrete, well thats another. it should have never happened. nascar fucked up bad, and selectively ruled against gordon. similar selective decision making was used a few weeks back against jr. let one of the rousch cars be involved in either and i kiss your ass if the end result is not the same.
