I still think it's too early for all that. And also, 4 of our best players have been injured or have been playing with the flu the last 3 games. That's something I had no idea about.

 

Hasn't Bethel been held scoreless for 3 straight games now? That ain't gonna cut it.

 

You got that right. I thought perhaps State was good enough to at least compete without certain players. But they aren't. Bethel has been sick for 10 days. He shouldn't have been playing at all.

 

State has been playing badly, but they were without Julius Hodge, and that's like Duke being without Ewing and Redick this year. It's almost impossible to win without him. He leads them in every major offensive category and if Hodge was in they would have beaten West Virginia. They need Levi Watkins and Tony Bethel to step up bad

 

Up until my junior year of high school (I am now a sophomore at UNCC) the Tar Heels were my favorite team. That was because both of my parents went to Chapel Hill, and my brother goes there. When I decided I was going to attend UNCC, the Niners went from being my second favorite team to my first favorite. I used to be a pretty hardcore Heels fan as I'm sure you can remember, but now I'm all about the Niners. I wont lie, I still pull for the Heels to do well, and a bunch of fellow Niner fans want to lynch me because of that, but the Niners are far and away my #1 team. Hopefully that tells you whatever you wanted to know. Not sure how any of that makes me a "fuckface." And I will admit I do have some "blind hatred" for Dook and State, which makes me look kind of ignorant soemtimes, but trust me I know my college hoops.

So how exactly am I a hypocrite? I still dont get that part

 

You are right about Bethel and Watkins, but Watkins hasn't really shown consistency. I really thought they had it all together because in years past they would have trouble with everyone; at least they were putting together great games against teams they were supposed to beat soundly.

 

I don't keep track of everyone enough to keep up with when allegiances switch; I just remember stuff that's been posted.

And if you're going to start a thread that's obviously smack talk, on this board, you've got to expect smack coming back.

 

well i was just assuming you were calling me a hypocrite for pulling for the tar heels but then bashing the acc at the same time, so i figured i would explain all that. believe me i dont mind any smack talk comming back my way at all, i was just wondering about the whole hypocrite thing.

 

Just found out that Tony Bethel has an intestinal disorder. Shit! (pardon the pun)

 

Can't believe State is catching shit from a guy who's NEW team hasn't been to the sweet 16 since Gerald Ford was in the White House.

Damn State has been more than that and they MISSED THE FUCKING TOURNAMENT FOR 10 YEARS.
