    He was recruited and nearly signed with his dad's alma mater Virginia Tech, but they wanted to redshirt him for physical reasons.

    I think he had a little interest from major programs, but his size limited that. I also think he wanted to stay pretty close to home too.

    I think they should be a 7 or 8 seed, but the reality is that they're probably a 12 or 13.

    I think it's entirely possible that both Davidson and Winthrop make the sweet sixteen this year.
