    TEXAS CHRISTIAN AT CHARLOTTE

    8 p.m. ESPN CLASSIC

Jeff Mullins, former Charlotte coach and Duke basketball star, will provide the analysis for tonight game, another of the network’s “Turn Back the Clock” games.

Mullins coached Charlotte for 11 years, compiling a record of 182-142 and three NCAA Tournament appearances. He also was the 49ers’ athletic director from 1985 to 1990.

Hey, were 49ers games even on TV way back when? If not, then why watch? LIsten to Swierad on the radio.

Yes, WBTV, with Jim Thacker and Bob Taylor, broadcast games from the University of Tennessee and Appalachian State during the 1976-77 season.

No need to attempt to listen to WFNZ's signal unless you're 5 miles from the tower at night. I lose the signal going home before the post-game show is complete.

It fades out at Tyvola going toward Pineville for me. How sad is it that a radio station can't even cover the entire city.
