    liked it

    mainly for the special effects and intensity of some of the scenes.

    It really did bog down when they ended up in Robbins house. Those scenes went on way too long.

    Part of the problem with the story being about one man/one family's perspective is it was impossible to work the reason for the alien's demise into the story other than a Morgan Freeman voice over as the credits are ready to roll.

    Good movie to go to if you are in the mood for a movie, but nothing to plan ahead for.

    It was okay, I guess. Great special effects, but that was about it. For such a rollercoaster ride of a movie, the ending was really anticlimactic. I wasn't thrilled about seeing it anyway.

    I just saw this. Will somebody please tell me what killed the aliens?? The movie wasn't bad IMO but the end sucked.

    yup our immune system has built up for years and years and grow stronger and disease has mutated to match. An alien race comes here and something as simple as a common cold to us is nearly instant death to them.
