Last season the tailgating really picked up from previous years. The new AD had the cheerleaders and parts of the band go around to the tailgating lots. So it is much better than two or three years ago. The crowds are expected to be above 20,000 for most of the games. The stadium holds around 18,000 but they pack the hill and set a record of around 25,000 last season.

I have USC Season Tix so I have to work it around that schedule. I'm looking at the Wofford game. Fits the schedule perfectly.

Yeah, but that's 9/16, right? You'd be trading patsy games.

App State vs Mars Hill should be a minature version of USC vs Wofford.

The Citadel, Furman, and Wofford games are conference rivals and have extra weight, so are more likely to be pumped up environments. The Furman-App State game are almost always tough, exciting games, not that I'm biased or anything, :woohoo:

Another good game (it actually has me a little worried) is Furman playing at Coastal Carolina on October 7. You could go see two damn good I-AA teams and go to the beach! Coastal's a realitvely new program that has had an amazing level of success. It's only a matter of time before they step up to the Southern Conference. They're developing into a South Carolina version of Georgia Southern.
