    What's the atmosphere like? I have season tix to the Gamecocks...but would like to experience some I-AA. What should I expect? Good tailgating? Good crowd?

    I'm sure they'll have a better crowd since they are defending champs but it is much closer to a high school atmosphere than D1-A

    As an ASU grad I have to agree w/ the statement above. It's fun if you gotta big crowd to go with... but it's not like USC by any means. I love ASU, always have, always will, but it ain't D1 football.

    ...but it's good, and if you don't have your own tailgate party planned, you can walk around and make yourself known as an outsider, the regular ASU faithful will treat you right, as long as you act like you have some sense. A football game at ASU is good stuff. And that's coming from a Wolfpacker.

    I'm not expecting it to be SEC tailgating...or stadium...or crowd. I'm going to the USC / Georgia game this Saturday...it'll be a blast...especially if we win.

    I'm looking for something different. I'll probably go with 1 buddy. We'll bring some tailgating gear (not all the shit I take to USC games) and check it out.

    Certainly it's not like a high school game. Is the crowd passionate? What's tailgating like? Lot of drunks?

    you can ride over here to Boiling Springs, NC for the App State/GWU on September 23 and its a 6pm game. one fine place to tailgate, i might add.
