    The ACC Champion is the team who wins the ACC tournament. Learn a little about basketball if you want to talk so much about it.

    Well actually "The ACC Champion" isn't really clear as to which one he is talking about. There is the ACC season champion and the ACC tourney champion. dook didn't win the ACC season championship.

    You are somewhat correct. The only team allowed to use the phrase ACC Champion is the team who wins the tourney. The phrase ACC Regular Season Champion did not even come about until the early 90's I believe. If Wake had lost and MAryland and Duke had won, 3 teams could have claimed the title Regular Season Champion as it is not based on any tie breakers. Therefore it is hardly a championship.

    The real ACC champion is the one who win both the regular season and the tourney....IMO
