So which is worse, looking past a really good team or an average/good team?

Looking past any team is bad in my opinion. Wake just came off the big win against UNC and it's next "big" game was Cincy. FSU was the classic sandwhich game and at 9-8 I'm sure Wake thought it would be a cake walk.

HAH - how ironic that Downey blew the streak on the game winning free throw :laugh1:

of course the absolute WORST part is that dook is now in first place. But just think - if Miami pulls of the upset tomorrow night there will be a four way tie for first - and Miami will be one of those teams :scared2: The four way tie assumes UNC doesn't choke at Clemson.

What I really wonder now, will Tom Soreassson write a column tomorrow about how Wake is now imploding since they didn't show up tonight?

Tonight's game says one thing loud and clear - ANY win on the road in the ACC is a big win.
