...that cost us 9 pts. in the blink of an eye. And Blackmon needs to keep his mouth shut. I bet he gets a pf before the end of the game.

On a brighter note, USF leads UNC 20 - 10 at halftime.

Yep, just too many 3rd and longs given up, although 3rd down stoppage was, percentage-wise, pretty good, I think.

I'm just glad it wasn't for total lack of discipline. 1 late (but critical) turnover, 5 penalties, held WF to 4 of 12 on 3rd downs.

On the flip side, they didn't go deep an awful lot, so no big plays from the wideouts like the last 2 games.

I'll have to take a look at it. But it seems we allow long gains on 3rd and long regularly. Not just this year but for several years. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to it and don't remember the stops. I'm still in my pissed off/disappointed mode right now. I'd like to know how many times we've been burned on 3rd and 6+.....But the 3rd and 10+ are the ones that chap my ass.

Collin, what do you think a good 3rd and long (you can define 'long') stop percentage is?

Like I said, maybe I'm just too sensitive to it.

Don't get me wrong, everyone in the house is leaving me alone right now. But yeah, they're too much like the Panthers in that regard.
