I'd need more proof than we're being given, which is that Gantt reads Beason's blog and Beason inferred change. I think too many people put too much into Fox being totalitarian for there to be anything to budge, which I don't buy, just as many felt that Meeks was a Dungy puppet, which I don't buy.

I'm OK with it, there are still some very good c2 teams, but in a lot of ways it's past its fad (for a while, anyway).

At any rate, scheme change or not, difference in coaching style or not, we do still need some talent revitalizing.

Dumbfuck, nevermind the fact that everyone thinks that you're a complete dumbass in general and specifically wrong about our DTs, I've spent a ridiculous amount of time proving that you're wrong. Whether it's the Kemo thread where I actually posted visual evidence showing that you're a clueless moron, or posting statistics like the fact that we gave up 100+ rushing yards in every single game after the bye except Tampa, I've shown conclusively that you're an ignorant fuck.

Embrace your limitations. You are an incredibly stupid person. That's not an insult so much as an accurate assessment of reality. You are very, very stupid, and that fundamental lack of intelligence leads you to make a fool of yourself regularly by saying some of the dumbest things this board has ever seen. I suppose some people enjoy your posts simply for the comedic value, but to everyone else you're a nuisance because you get in the way of legitimate discussion.

If the Panthers acquired Shaun Rodgers, I would be pleased.

    Then they should acquire Leinert.

    blah blah blah blah blah.......

We held some good running backs to under 100 yards to start off the season. It was working until the depth got depleted.

I think this is what they shot for last year with Walker and Scott. Neither of them really stuck but I look for them to add at least one rotational guy but not a starter.

Because these guys suck at DT. They don't stop the run most games and they don't put any pressure on the QB up the middle. Basically they are almost worthless imo. For a guy of Kemo's size he shouldn't get his ass kicked on the line of scrimmage as much as he does. Lewis is a bit better but not a lot. They really, REALLY, need to upgrade these positions. If Peppers leaves that takes the only real player we have on the DL (although I thought Brayton had a decent season overall). Right now though I don't see anything out there that will improve the line as well as the fact we can't afford to pay anyone enough to get them here.

I don't know how feasible it is, but it's worthwhile. I had a friend pitching me a Cleveland trade that included him, and while he can be a mild distraction, he's a huge distraction to opposing guards. If he keeps up the mad-at-mangini act, he could still be available in a month.

Game 1 Ladanian Tomlinson 97 yards
Game 2 Matt Forte 92 yards
Game 3 Adrian Peterson 77 yards
Game 4 Michael Turner 56 yards
Game 5 Larry Johnson 18 yards
Game 6 Warrick Dunn 115 yards
Game 7 Reggie Bush 55 yards
Game 8 Edgerrin James 17 yards
Game 9 Justin Fargas 89 yards
Game 10 Kevin Smith 112 yards
Game 11 Michael Turner 117 yards
Game 12 Brandon Jackson 80 yards
Game 13 Warrick Dunn 49 yards
    Game 14 Pope 51 yards
    Game 15 Ward 215 yards
    Game 16 Mcallister 40 yards
    Playoff Game Hightower 76 yards

The only game where we really gave up a huge amount of rushing yards to any one back was the Giants game. Kemo missed that game...

Edit: An interesting observation is that we gave up four 100 yard rushers during the year and lost three of those games with the one win coming against detroit. Our only loss in the regular season where we held the opposing rusher to less than 100 yards was the Minnesota game.
