    I am working a contract position in LA. I am spending a lot on hotel, transportation, and all that which can be written off. I want to maximize my take home pay. I have a new W4 in front of me. tell me how to do that.

    Yes, write all that stuff off. I have an accountant that does all that for me, i just turn in my numbers and he takes it from there. Sorry not much help.
