    without question the best moments are the day after Duke puts yet another ass-spanking on UNC and sly abuses wossa, brain and all the other Tarheel wannabes. Priceless moments right there.

    Yeah and after all those ass-spankings the last six years or so, all those ACC Tourney titles and number one rankings Duke has the same amount of National Titles that UNC does. One. You would think during Duke's glory years, with all the talent that they have had, that they could manage to win more National Titles than lowly UNC. You would think.

    Duke won 2 national titles when UNC was equivalent to about what Duke is now.

    Carolina had gone seven years without winning the tourney title, and the Tar Heels had lost three times to the Blue Devils the year before. Danny Ferry's 75-footer at the buzzer hits the back of the rim to give UNC the ACC championship.


    Damn, I remember that. Off a missed FT if I remember, quite a toss by Ferry :(

    This is bullshit only because they don't have any choices pre 1980. 1974s late season game when Walter Davis hit a 35' bank shot to cap a 8 point comeback in 16 seconds (pre 3 point shot) and Carolina eventually winning in OT WAS the greatest basketball game no matter who was playing, I have ever witnessed live.

    Typical ESPN bullshit, trying to rewrite sports history to only include 1980 and beyond.

    Because of them the Duke UNC game is on Saturday night too. Great, thanks a lot. I didn't like sunday afternoon games anyway.
