Virus?

    I prefer the Webroot AV with spysweeper as compared to anything I've tried, but never tried Avast. Norton sux, it's too invasive and will take your computer 10 minutes to boot with it running, and McAfee and AVG are basically worthless. Glad you got it fixed!

    i took the whole fucking thing...monitor, tower, keyboard, mouse...to goodwill and had a new one delivered. :peacemanmw:

    Why would Firefox or IE fail to open? Got some error regarding a port error. I did a system restore that fixed it but it'll probably recur.

    BTW you DO know to delete all old system restore files when cleaning a virus right? They can store the virus and rerelease it.
