If I recall there are some situations where money was payed to dook players or their family by various methods, but if it makes you feel better about your team this year to point that out about Williams, have at it!

Oh, sorry you are right, it is a fact of what I said about coach K and those dook players! I don't think anybody is arguing the NCAA rule about where the loses go for K, more the FACT of he had his so called back problem when he had a bad team.

 

I think you are confused on the definition of fact. Fact is something confirmed. Like when Roy confirmed he paid his players.

Duke was 9-3 when K left having lost a heartbreaker to UConn and to a strong Iowa team. They had also beaten Michigan, Ga Tech, and Illinois before he left. After he left they beat Notre Dame and won 4 more ACC games including one in the ACC tourney and took UNC to 2OT and Virginia to 2OT. He didn't leave because they were going to be bad. They were bad because he left.

But the real question is how much of Roy's success had come because he paid his players?

 

Didn't he give a guy a graduation gift? If so, wouldn't that mean that he had already stopped playing?

So, the answer would be none.

 

Pretty sure it was players not a player. IF you believe that was all the money he gave...I mean if you are going to cheat why stop there....and IF you believe he wasn't promised the money before he came to Kansas.

But someone willing to believe K faked a back injury will believe anything.
