    Dude, tell me where I used the word "important". You said a degree was less of a priority than his money. I said if his education is less of a priority than his money, then let him build a gym with a statue in his honor somewhere else - not at a school where education is the priority. You want to make a stink over the terms education vs. degree? Be my guest.

    News flash: He made that money playing ball - he does not have a degree in basketball.

    You sound like the dean in "Back to School" who when confronted about Rodney says "In all fairness, it was a really big check".

    Agreed, and all of those with their great education have given back what?

    I would rather him being what he is in the public eye of basketball, have the nuts to donate 2.5 million than to do some shit stuff with the money. You know he could just go bling it up with the 2.5 million and send an even better message.

    To me it sets a bad precedent. Can anyone donate 2.5mil and have a statue erected on public property? I can see statues of Michael Jackson popping up at elementary schools everywhere, what about David Duke?

    If David Duke donated 2.5 million to the high school he attended and had a statue of himself built there, it would'nt bother me one bit.
