    >>King-

Reminded me why he was benched. Not accurate, never has been. Number one criteria.

    >>Batch-

Band-aid. Fairly accurate, but injuires, lack of mobility, holds the ball, yada yada yada. I'd bring him in as a younger version of Peete.

    >>Couch-

Change in scenery may do him good.

    >>McMahon

For a fifth, paired with someone else. A lot of QBs look good against Minnesota. He's got skills, but still developing. Not a great decision maker.

    >>Blake-

For the type of game we want to run, Blake could do it. Nice deep ball.

    >>Green or Dilfer

Green given a choice, for health reasons. Tough to come back from that Achilles.

    No on the rest.

Lets not forget one other veteren from KFFL Flash
DenverBroncos.com reports Denver Broncos QB Steve Beuerlein is heading home to North Carolina for the off-season. His trip home gives him a chance to consider his future. Coach Mike Shanahan has told the QB he wants him back next season. "The ball's in my court in terms of whether I want to keep playing or not, no doubt about it," Beuerlein said. "(Shanahan has) made it very clear to me that they'd want me back." Beuerlein didn't come away completely unscathed from the 2002 season. "I've got some hand issues. My hands are kind of messed up," he said. "For whatever reason, my hands have taken a beating this year, so we're going to try and get them back and see if I can get them back into golf shape."

Beuerlein's under contract next year, and at a modest rate.

I guess Steve's considering retirement then

Did he say he had been beatin off a lot with his hands? :D

Hey it was nice to see an old vet come back from a injury and start a few games this year. (3 or 4). I'm sure Denver would like to have him back as a back up.

I'm still waiting on the report back from the FBI which is investigating how Steve came into his starts the last 5 or so years. Something about QBs with drinking problems, attitude, and team disruptions... irony or plot? :D

I'd rather see a Dilfer or other Vet, preferably with a winning history. If not then a younger Vet that has not had enough time to determine if they can become winners or not.

    1. Doesn't surprise me that you'd be thinking about Beuerlein playing with himself. Freud wins again.

    2. They're talking about Beuerlein as the starter.

  8. how about Tim Rattay...I don't know what his contract status is or what/if they'd trade him but he is supposabley being molded into a descent young QB.

I don't see the Faggie9ers letting Rattay get away yet. Plus, I think he has another year before FA.
