    looks like it might be a good movie, but also looks like it is going to prove that Tom Cruise is a really shitty actor

    I'll wait to see it to pass judgement but I'm not expecting an Oscar winning performance.

    I saw the film last night and was very impressed. Cruise despite his ridiculous behavior in public does a tremendous job. The movie is well written, very well acted, and does not play with the facts. They did a great job of capturing the mood of Germany as the war was starting to devastate the nation. It's a definite must see IMO.

    I read the major studios are backing away from Cruise to the point Cruise had to put up a good deal of his own money to get this movie done (he is the Executive producer). I hope it's a disappointment

    Cruise is a good actor. The scientology stuff is pretty messed up but I have enjoyed most things I have seen him in.

    I don't wish failure on him, but, I've got to say some of his movies purely sucked, e.g. Mission Impossible II.
