USC ND

It's not even that that pisses me off. It's the fact that we went in and beat the #7 team at the time, on the road soundly in front of a hostile crowd and we hardly get any talk about it. Right after the game Mark Maye says that it was an okay win but we will lose to Florida and Auburn. But when USC pulls one out of their ass on the road against the #9 team it's an outstanding game by USC. It doesn't help that the press is so far pushed up USC and Notre Dame's butt that they can't see the sun, but it's the fact that every game they play is an outstanding game. And if you want to compare Tennessee and Notre Dame and say Notre Dame is so much better, both of them have 2 losses, Notre Dame hasn't even beaten a ranked team (highlight win of the year was Michigan, which doesn't look like that big of a deal now). Tennessee has also beaten a top 10 team. The press and ESPN have just been sucking Notre Dame off this year because they don't completely suck. I mean it was a clutch win by USC, but saying they played outstanding just isn't true. They have such a double-standard between USC and everyone else, but I guess I should just get used to it.

 

Yup...till somebody beats them.

 

I remember Corso saying they'll lose in Berkeley to California but I just don't see that happening. UCLA has the best chance from now on, but I think the game is at USC so I don't think they'll win.

Helluva game. Weis gets huge props for taking ND over and turning those guys into men in such a short time. Scarry what he could do when he gets his recruits in there...

I still don't think USC would have a chance in hell at beating an NFL team though. Their OL & DL alone would get crushed. The speed even on bad NFL teams is far greater than any group of rookies could ever muster.

 

take the at worst 3rd best player from each team in the acc, sec, big10 and big 12 and put them up against usc. USC would get destroyed. USC is good but they cant beat an NFL team.

 

I know we don't do torrents on this board but anyone who has one of this game feel free to PM me. I've only found the 2003 matchup so far, and one of my friends was out of the country for this game. I'd love to show him this instant classic that NBC isn't sharing.

 

the 1-15 Panthers would destroy USC. any NFL team is better than any college team.period.

Then it's a damn good thing they only have to play college teams...
