God, now all week we get to hear about how USC has the heart of a champion. I mean, I know it never crossed the announcers mind but maybe USC is a little overrated, or at best is #1 but not nearly as far and away better than everyone thought they would be. Texas and Va Tech would've beaten them on Saturday. Their pass defense is atrocious.

Which means I'm gonna run off at the gums, from there on. Yeah - great call. Big ass balls. I had a feeling they were kinda over-selling the "spike it" thing. ND was ready, though. The MLB got antsy and jumped when he shouldn't have, which left no one to cover Leinart's roll.

I don't know who I wanted to see win this more, I've always had a thing for both teams. ND's for real, and I think they only get better.

when you have won 27 games in a row you have earned every single accolade they throw your way.

And it is way to easy to say "so and so would have beat them Saturday".

USC could have played Texas and blown their doors off.

And Va Tech isn't as good as everybody thinks. Best in the ACC maybe but that ain't saying too much this season.

 

I honestly don't know that Texas is as good as advertised, either.

 

They've won 27 in a row, but a ton of those games have been against really crappy Pac-10 teams. The Pac-10 sucked the past two seasons and this season it is decent. They beat Michigan in a bowl game and beat Oklahoma in the national Championship. All you hear about this year is how they are going to coast and crush everyone, and they just haven't done it. Even Arizona put up 21 on them and Arizona is terrible. Reggie Bush is great and the best player in the country, but I think the press is just obsessed with this team. If Georgia plays this game and wins 34-31 all you would hear about is how they aren't for real and that they won't win or even contend for the title, but USC wins that same game and they played great and Notre Dame was did a good job just trying to hang into the game. Anyone else think Leinart has turned into a dousch over the past year?

 

well if someone wants to shut the USC hype down, all they have to do is fucking beat them. It shouldn't be so hard if they are so overrated...
