I can buy that we do not have any good outside shooters on this team and that it is hurting us. What I can not understand is why we keep giving up 90 or more points? If we can not score in bunches we should be able to lock them down and keep them from scoring so much. I think this whole experience just shows the lack of quality the NBA has sunk to. The NBA is only interested in slam dunks not good team play. It is really showing now when a bunch of international teams with lesser atheletes are killing us.

I wonder if this will have any impact on the NBA? It probably wont, they will just blow it off and go on about promoting the guys who can dunk and doing little to encourage good team play.

we played our best when we were pressuring the ball. they can't get their shots off when somebody is in their face. unfortunately, we kept going under the screen at the end of the game and that dude was on fire. we hit our shots when we needed to, we just couldn't play D for a darn.

lebron didn't do much on the offensive end, but he and wade were playing some great on the ball defense.

They kept beating us off the dribble when we extended. That's why we started playing like the Lakers on the screen roll.

Bottom line, Lithuiania is actually good.
They have big men, guys that cn penetrate, and they can all shoot.

These guys get paid good money in Europe. A lot of their players don't want to move to the US.

off the dribble? maybe if we went for pump fakes. they did a good job of rolling to the basket if our big showed on the pick and that was hurting us. but when we got up in their faces, that's when we broke the game open a bit. forcing turn-overs and getting out on the break.
