BofA is having a 3:30 press conference at Founder's Hall that sources say is about their backing of minor league baseball, but the Knight's don't know anything about it. Weird. Stay tuned.

Maybe you guys can get the Richmond Braves. Word is they may leave if the city keeps dicking around about a new stadium.

    From the CLT Observer:

The project is a Bank of America-backed Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

BoA is the official sponsor of MLB & Minor League Baseball now. I hope this is upcoming good news for the Knights in finally getting an Uptown Ballpark. What's happening here is similar to what took place in Greensboro; for years there was little support to go the traditional route to finance a new ballpark. Finally, some public-private corporation was formed to help finance their new ballpark (?; I might be wrong . . Someone correct me if I am :) . . . ). I think the same thing needs to happen here

Wasn't there a rumor back in the winter that a couple of BofA executives were going to buy the Knights?

Yeah, I think I heard that, too. Beaver can't be making any money on the team.
