    I think this is correct...
10th isn't bad at all IMO

    1 Cin 2-14
    2 Detroit 3-13
    3 Houston 4-12
    3 Chicago 4-12
Above tie to be broken by a coin flip
    5 Arizona 5-11
    5 Dallas 5-11
Above tie to be broken by a coin flip
    7 Minnesota 6-10
    8 Jacksonville 6-10
    9 St. Louis 6-10 (if lose 2night)
    10 Carolina 7-9
    11 Baltimore 7-9
    11 Seattle 7-9
Above tie to be broken by a coin flip
    13 Washington
    14 New England from Buffalo
    15 San Diego
    16 Kansas City
    17 New Orleans
    18 New Orleans from Miami
    19 New England
    20 Denver
    21 Cleveland
    22 NYJ
    23 Atlanta
    24 Indy
    25 NYG
    26 Pittsburgh
    27 San Francisco
    28 Tennessee
    29 Green Bay
    30 Phi
    31 Oakland
    32 Oakland from Tampa Bay

I'm guessing that if St Louis wins 2night then we could move up to 9th but no worse than 10th ATP.

Now for the initial mock draft...
1 Cin Jimmy Kennedy (or trade down)
    2 Detroit 3-13 Charles Rogers
3 Houston 4-12 Terrell Suggs (or trade down)
    3 Chicago 4-12 Carson Palmer
Above tie to be broken by a coin flip
    5 Arizona 5-11 Byron Leftwich
5 Dallas 5-11 Willis McGahee or Eli Manning
Above tie to be broken by a coin flip
    7 Minnesota 6-10 William Joesph
8 Jacksonville 6-10 Eli Manning or EJ Henderson
9 St. Louis 6-10 (if lose 2night) OT Jordan Gross
10 Carolina 7-9 Larry Johnson, Dave Ragone, Rashaun Woods, Andre Johnson or Terrence Newman (or trade down)

I feel completely comfortable that Carolina should be able to move up (with reasonable demands) if they so desire. We need badly for Manning to come out in this draft. McGahee too.

If we stay at #10 look for the Cats to trade down just bit and grab either Woods, one of the Johnson or Ragone.

How about if Chicago doesn't want to wait grooming another QB and signs Plummer. I know it's a long shot and I have no problem drafting Andre Johnson or Larry Johnson but getting a QB like Leftwich would be sweet

Yea, if Leftwich or Manning or Palmer are there - we need to look at them.

Larry or Andre Johnson are probably our first round targets given the fact that those 3 QBs are probably gone when we pick.

Larry Johnson is a complete RB that can catch are run with authority. We would be lucky to get him at 10. Same can be said for Andre. Great speed and size and a bigtime talent. Rashaun Woods of Ok St is coming up quick on Johnson in terms of stock IMO. Woods looks like a great WR in his own right and might be a bit more flexible than Johnson. I love em both however and either would help us a lot. I'd go with Larry Johnson right now though. And look for QB or WR in the next few rounds. I think Fox is gonna look for a vet QB to start next yr.

It would be great to move down just a bit and get LJ then package some picks and come back up and get Andre or Rashaun at the bottom half of round 1. Getting LJ and Andre and say Brunell or Kordell would be killer! We could really contend with those guys here.

As much as I like Larry Johnson the names Curtis Enis and Kijana Carter keep popping up in my head. Andre Johnson please

Larry Johnson didn't have the supporting cast those guys had and is more complete a back than either of them. Don't forget that both of those guys got seriously injuried early in their careers too. The school is irrelevent. The injuries are what killed those guys careers. You take that risk with any player.

So much will be determined by how active we are in free agency. Should we get a true #1 WR Larry is our man IMO. That and if Henning is still around (shudder) we need a power back

I believe the coin flip is only used if the teams tied in record have the same opponent's winning percentage. If they are not the same, the team with the lower opponent's winning percentage picks first.

I believe we won our way out of an impact player in the first round. That's nice! We will probably be doomed as a .500 franchise for years to come. I don't understand why everybody is happy with a 7-9 record. 8-8, 9-7's are no better. All this means is that we're a losing franchise, once again, and that we will not be in position to get impact players.
