    Most Unitarian churches won't even say that, it's more open with little doctrinal structure, or as some of them might put it, doctrinal walls.

    I respect both the Unitarian Universalist Church and the Metropolitan Community Church. The difference between them, IMHO, is that the Unitarians emphasize openness primarily in doctrine/beliefs, while the MCC seems to emphasize openness to groups of people who often experience discrimination.

    Yep, there is very little doctrine other than the principles I outlined above. Some UU fellowships are more Christian based than others, but the doctrine of Jesus as the Savior is nothing I've ever heard preached from a UU minister or layperson serving in the pulpit. Some guest speakers, yes, but never otherwise.
