Under the Banner of Heaven

I started watching this recently, and have one episode to go. So far, it's been great--really dark, kind of creepy, and just unsettling in general. It's based on a true crime from 1984, and covers the beliefs of the Mormon church and their history simultaneously with a police procedural method of solving the case. Spiderman (Andrew Garfield--the one from Spiderman 2) is a super devout detective who has to deal with all he's learning about his faith while he solves the case.

It's solid entertainment, although Tharan may want to pretend they're portraying Southern Baptists instead of Mormons so he can reinforce his prejudices.
