    No doubt there was a total chokefest at the end. Went from coming in hot and contending for the top of the conference, to throwing away 3 straight after coming into Louisville with 4 losses the whole year.

    uncc fans have got to be pulling their hair out after this latest slide. i gotta admit that i like to see them do well but could not resist the dig after their multi page thread "complimenting" the acc.

    lutz hasnt had his guys ready to play for two weeks. Makes me wonder if someone has gotten to him about another job. I think someone has contacted him already. Probably contacted him a month ago and now putting on some pressure.

    Lutz is a nice guy. He is a shitty coach. I am alum from UNCC and hate to say that. Coaching at UNCC is tough because of the presence of the ACC. He does a great job recruiting considering what he has to go up against. His teams just look so flat some times, especially after they get any praise. Every year they go on a nice run of wins, get some recognition and then lose 3 straight. Then they go to the tournament, play a close first round game, and are gone by the end of the second round. This is the case every year. Apparently Charlotte is content with those results, another school might not be.

    OK here comes the name callers also HH. Why not bring some facts. Some guy named HP was comparing Sendek and Lutz yesterday on your board. I really didn't realize that while Herb took over a program on Life support, Lutz took over a program that took UNC to the wire in their Final four year in a second round game. Well while Herb has missed the tourney his first 5 years, he has as many NCAA wins as Lutz. Do you not find it odd that Herb is firmly on the hotseat, while you guys act like Lutz is the second coming of John Wooden(Well you guys and Stan Olsen). Maybe thats what the poster is refering to when he says "Apparently Charlotte is content with those results, another school might not be". He might be right.

    And for the record UNCdubya.....when you say "Then they go to the tournament, play a close first round game, and are gone by the end of the second round".

    That has pretty much been the norm at Charlotte since oh I don't know .....1977
