That's true as well. I think about 8 drops tonight.

Between those drops and the INTs, we didn't have a chance tonight.

Good thing, he would've been apologizing to the media on Monday.
I'm not disagreeing with him, Carolina played 10 opponents with a .500 record or better. But IMO, it was classless to say it after your last game, and is perhaps a slap at the administration for overscheduling several years back.

I started listening to this game after we left the Bobcats game. It was the drive where VT gave it to Ore(?) or somebody 6 straight times. Those are the worst types of games to watch or listen to if your team is on defense.

He is definately not my choice. We just don't have much in the way of options.

Low completion % with 9 TD and 11 INT? Not going to get it done.

We have a ton of QBs on the roster, I guess they are either not good, too young(no experience) or Bunting just felt like Baker should be the starter.

I don't see why anything he said would require an apology, especially to the media. After the Tech game is seems like a pretty weird time to say it. Not sure what State had to do with the game but I guess it was in answer to a specific question. Just gives State bulletin board material for next year, not that they should need it for a UNC game.

Baker is (was) a tough QB. That's about the best thing you can say about him. He did pretty good for a fifth year senior just now getting any real playing time. He led the team much better than any expected, certainly by opposing fans who all said UNC would suck because they lost Durant at QB who was supposed to be the only reason UNC won six games last year.

Sexton, a freshman is probably the best QB on the team besides Baker. He'll be a redshirt freshman and will have a new offensive coordinator so he will probably be learning the hard way next season.

He may have been answering a question

Sometimes the guys get burned by reporters working a certain angle for a story and when it is answered with several people listening everybody runs with it. But what Matt Baker said is absolutely true. Replace just one of Louisville or Wisconsin with Middle Tennessee State or even Southern Mississippi and the Heels are 6-5 and bowl eligible.

On the officiating front, it sure looked like the fix was in. The ACC did not want to risk the millions of dollars at stake if Va Tech were upset and wound up playing in a lesser bowl.

I don't believe for a second that there was any conspiracy, it was just incompetence.

Or you could have just beaten GT or Maryland.

    Same difference!

But Va Tech would have still won, just by less.
