    it was depressing. i guess my reaction to the blown 14 pt. lead was alot more critical than it would have been if the game had been close the whole way. i usually take a wait and see approach to these games, get my hopes up when they are doing well, and then i crash and burn when the rug gets yanked from under my feet. i hate to see them make mistakes and lose when they are good enough to win.

    1997 FSU(#2) vs UNC(#5)

    I remember that UNC returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, but it was called back because of a block in the back. The first play from scrimmage Keldorf/Davenport (can't remember which) hit a wide out in stride on a post pattern and the receiver dropped the ball. UNC couldn't muster much offense from that point on and went on to lose, 20-3.
