UNC vs Washington St.

still nothing huh... the old "you're a dumb head" defense from third grade. You can't take any criticism can you. You ARE wrong sometimes. We all are.

 

I have to admit, these two facts combined make for a difficult game for the Heels.

 

There's nothing to be WRONG about here. Opinions are opinions. The only way most people on this board can try to prove their point is to insult and name-call. If you don't agree with my opinion, EXPLAIN WHY. That's discussion, and I can handle that. What you did above is just stupid and honestly, from what I can tell, it's below you.

 

Thing is, you didnt even factor in the PPG on the defensive side....My bet is that Wash St holds teams to under 60PPG (on average) and UNC gives up 70+....did you not take a Stats class at UNC?

I also didn't factor in other guys that play. I could have broken it down to average points per minute or even average points per possession and the numbers may have come out completely different. There's a number of things I left out - intentionally.
I still like basketball as a game of 'matchups', so I wanted to see how UNC's top 6 compare against their top 6 because I didn't know a lot about Washington State. The interesting thing to me was that they're a bigger team and their average points per game for their top 6 is still 20 points below our top 6.

 

Im going to go out on a limb and say wash st plays a different type of game than unc.

and that is probably all by design of the offense.....Id say (never having seen Wash St play) that they use 20 to 25 seconds of every possession where UNC may use 10 to 15.....the game will be a battle of Tempo......if Wash St controls it, they can win...if UNC keeps it up then they win going away.
