    congrats to GMU. played harder and wanted it more.

    great year by the Tarheels. fun team to watch. exceeded all expectations from everyone . looking foward to next year .

    Exactly. I am sure the Duke loyalist will come out of the wood work and blast them. Whatever. It has been a fun ride this season watching these guys mature and FAR Exceed any expectations ANYONE could have had for them. Best part is other than Noel everyone is back and the nations #1 recruiting class.

    Oh and lets not for get the Heels are STILL the defending National Champions until April 2nd :trophy:

    It was undoubtedly a great season, but honestly that doesn't make me feel any better right now. I still feel like shit, which is why I have and probably always will hate the NCAA tournament.

    it was and you're right it feels crappy. but i still love this tournament, depsite the finality of going home early.

    question for the UNC fans....

    If I had told you after winning the title last year, that you would lose your top 7 scorers from that team, and you would still post a 20 win season, and threaten in the tourney, what would you have said?

    I did not say those things, because I didn't think it could happen. But it did.

    Great year Roy and UNC Tar Heels.

    Helluva friggin job by all, and the future certainly looks bright, provided the guys that did so much this year that can stay, will stay.
