Damn, glad Sanders is gone next year, hopefully QT will transfer since he won't play much next year. Those two players suck some major ass.

Thomas may be one of the sorriest point guards I can remember.

He looks awkward as hell dribbling up the court, passing, you name it.

Thankfully he doesn't shoot much but I bet he looks like crap doing that too.

Thank God for Bobby Frasor ( who also had a crappy game tonight). If the Heels had to rely on QT all season to run the team they maybe would win only 8 games.

Outside of DN and TH, they all played like crap tonight. I would almost like to see what Copeland can do in place of Sanders. I know he is a lot shorter but still.

Duke would beat that USC team hands down. UNC had over 20 turnovers and was still in the game with 4 minutes to go. Quentin Thomas and Byron Sanders should never play again as Tarheels, they are so awful, it's an eyesore to watch them, but I love when they screw up.

Thats the one thing I dislike about college hoops. Wish they'd do non conference scheds based on a giant formula like the NFL uses. Duke is a great team/program, but aside from their annual "safe if we lose" road game @Kentucky or Michigan, etc, they never play anyone. They have no idea what it's like to play a small conference power in a bandbox gym. That's what college hoops is all about. Not loading up on patsies and home games.

I take the blame for this one. I said looks like they will go into conference play with one loss. My bad. And I went to bed at halftime cuz they were looking ok.

Stole this from the Devils Den.....

    :roflmao:

"No way UNC loses this one - USC is a pretty bad team with an inflated record. Their two losses are to:

Cal State Northridge - currently 5-3 with losses by 21 to Northeastern and 22 to Eastern Washington (4-5)

Oral Roberts (this was a 20-point loss) - currently 5-5 with a 20-point loss to La Lafayette (2-6) on their schedule.

USC's wins came against Div. I teams with a combined record of 15-32 plus one Div. II team.

Those wins came the aforementioned Eastern Washington, a 1-point win over Div. II Alaska Anchorage, UC Riverside (0-7), Loyola Marymount (3-6 with a 47-point loss to Washington), Western Michigan (2-5), and Alcorn State (0-7). The only thing remotely close to a quality win is a victory over BYU who is 6-2 after an equally woeful schedule (the other BYU loss was to the aforementioned Loyola Marymount).

Want to know how inflated that Trojans' 6-2 record is? Their schedule is ranked 317 out of 334 teams. "

I honestly thought we would lose a lot more games like this. I'm happy with where they guys are at. They went to the west two days before x-mas after exams and were flat. I'm not worried. Anybody can lose any game. Just ask Va Tech.
