    Syracuse had 136 yards. Yikes. 70 or 80 of them came on one drive. They should call Jim Brown.

    QB Ben Mauk got injured in the third quarter for the Deacons and a rookie replaced him. He's out with a broken upper arm and dislocated shoulder.

    And? I was already aware of the circumstances of the game. The fact remains that Wake Forest barely beat a team that went 1-10 last season. A win is a win, but I was correcting VI for saying that Wake won "handily."
